Khadeja Al- Zarraa is an experienced attorney specializing in litigation dispute resolution. In her previous roles, Ms. Al-Zarraa worked on managing all local and international litigation. She administered a diverse case load, comprising of employment civil, media, and criminal cases in multiple jurisdictions around the world, including US, UK, Europe, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt. Prior to joining Al- Ansari & Associates, Ms. Al-Zarraa worked at Al Jazeera Media Netowrk and RasGas Company limited (now merged with QatarGas).
- Administered an international arbitration filed before the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
- Delivered legal support and advice in employment, criminal and corporate matters.
- Collaborated with numerous Human Rights organizations to promote the cases of journalists, facing criminal charges, and aided in obtaining international support for their cases.
- Assisted the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights in drafting their petition to the U.N. Working Group on Arbitrary Detention on behalf of a detained Journalist.
- Managed high-profile media cases arising from the investigative documentary production which led to a high-profile lawsuit in the US.
- Managed three ICC arbitration claims totalling to approximately $3 Billion.
- Advised an LNG company on long-term sales agreements disputes through arbitration and advising them on a price review arbitration.
- Advised Qatar-based companies on employment and commercial matter in accordance with Qatar laws.
- Represented a leading technical professional services company in a multimillion construction dispute.
