COVID-19 Judicial Suspension

In line with the precautionary measures adopted by the authorities in Qatar to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the country, the Supreme Judiciary Council decided today the closure of the Courts of First Instance, Courts of Appeal, Rental Disputes Committee and Labour Disputes Committee For a period of two weeks from Sunday, 15th of March 2020. Accordingly, all court hearings scheduled to take place during this period will be administratively adjourned to future dates. We will off course follow up with the relevant courts and update you with the new dates and status of court proceedings as soon as we receive additional information from the courts.
